All of the dogs you see to the left have been shown at some point, or will be. They are living with us or used to live with us. Have sired a litter or will do (we hope). We prefer to add to this page through the years rather than removing those who have died to a separate pages, they will always a part of Jamarhys.
Within our dogs are: CH Jamarhys Yoan; Chevalier Noir At Jamarhys; Shergay Jardine At Jamarhys and Jamarhys Draig Goch, Jamarhys Stormy Knight who have all gained entry into the British Kennel Club Studbook through their show wins. This list we hope will be ever expanding and always improving.
Our Dogs are bred for us to use in our kennels, we do however occasionally allow our dogs to be used at stud to a health tested bitch we are interested in having a puppy back from. At 12 months all of our dogs have been Hip scored (if with us at this time), from 2013 all dogs kept have been Hip and Elbow scored through the BVA health testing scheme. We believe that the more knowledge we have of our dogs the better the next generation can be. We hope that our future dogs represent the breed to a better standard.
All of the Chows to the left have been bred by us but do not live with us anymore. Some are pets, some are show dogs others have been used in a breeding program. The majority of our puppies go as pets. If they are suitable and things are planned properly there is a chance of them being used in a breeding program. But we do sell every puppy with endorsements which means they can’t be bred with or exported without our approval. The majority of these Chows live in the UK but some are over seas and we have had successful relations with other countries.
If you would like to use one of our dogs at stud please contact us through rhys@greenideas.me.uk I will be more than willing to talk with you about any opportunities. We do ask for a bitch to be health tested as we want to assist in improving our breed rather than just producing puppies. Health testing is no guarantee as to better hips but it is a step in the correct direction. We do have dogs in different colours and for special circumstances they may be used, in general our reds are what we would offer in the way of stud.
